Eurographics 2022 conference

The involvement of our students in EG22 ranges from presenting their relevant work, to volunteering and helping in organizing the conference (Tairan Yin). During the conference, Ariel Kwiatkowski and Eduardo Alvarado presented their State-of-the-Art Report (STAR) titled "A Survey on Reinforcement Learning methods in Character Animation".  Another STAR, titled "Authoring Virtual Crowds: A Survey", was presented by another one of our students, Marilena Lemonari (along with Dr. Nuria Pelechano and Dr. Panagiotis Charalambous). Both works were written with the involvement of other CLIPE team members, with the former including Dr. Julien Pettre and Prof. Marie-Paule Cani, and the latter including Rafael Andrés Blanco Guerra, Dr. Julien Pettre, Prof. Yiorgos Chrysanthou, and Prof. Marios Avraamides. It was an amazing opportunity for the students to experience their first conference in person after some time and catch up with the interesting advancements in the field.
