Congratulations to MSCA Fellow Eduardo Alvarado for completing his Ph.D. research thesis!

Dr Alvarado's research is centered on plausible, interactive and multi-scale 3D animation (physically-based, kinematic) for humans and animals in dynamic and deformable environments, with focus on authoring tools for the entertainment industry (games, VR).
Dr. Alvarado worked on the CLIPE project “Groups of Humans in Natural Environments: a Multi-Scale Approach” in the Visual Worlds: Temporal Analysis, Animation and Authoring (VISTA) group at École Polytechnique in Paris (France), under the supervision of Prof. Damien Rohmer and Prof. Marie-Paule Cani.
He has published 6 peer-reviewed (refereed) articles and won the “Best Paper Honorable Mention Award” at the ACM SIGGRAPH/Eurographics Symposium on Computer Animation (SCA), 2022.
