Training Workshop 2

The CLIPE 2nd training workshop, dedicated to EU funding programmes, grant writing and professional development, has been successfully completed!
The workshop took place in Rennes, France, from March 28th to April 1st, 2022. Throughout the week, CLIPE PhD students actively participated in a training workshop led by Celia Hadjichristodoulou of GrantXpert Consulting, and they had the opportunity to hear real-life stories from other PhD students and post-docs about how they used EU funds and developed their own start-ups. The students also presented and discussed with their advisors their work and career development plans.
Welcome to the 1st Newsletter of CLIPE

The 1st newsletter of the CLIPE project has been released. CLIPE is a four year-long Marie Skłodowska - Curie Innovative Training Network in the framework of Horizon 2020. The primary objective of CLIPE is to train a generation of innovators and researchers in the field of virtual characters simulation and animation. Our first newsletter outlines among others the completed actions of the CLIPE project, including the recruitment of the 15 PhD researchers, the organization of the virtual 1st networking event and the 1st training workshop (summer school on virtual humans). Information about forthcoming workshops are provided.
Training Workshop 1: Summer School on Virtual Humans

CLIPE’s 1st training workshop - Summer School on Virtual Humans - is scheduled to take place in Cyprus from the 13th until the 17th of September 2021!
The workshop’s aim is to provide an overview of the latest developments in technology and applications in the field of virtual characters. The workshop will be held in Adams Beach Hotel in Ayia Napa but it will be a hybrid event, giving the opportunity to participants to join the workshop online.
Networking Event 1 - Development of Career Development Plan and research-related skills

The virtual 1st Networking Event of CLIPE took place from Tuesday the 2nd to Friday the 5th of February 2021. A great opportunity for the recruited researchers (PhD students) to introduce themselves to the rest of the CLIPE team and work with their advisors and industrial partners on developing their research and training plan.
